With the qualifying matches in the rear view mirror, and Money In The Bank coming up this Saturday Night, I’m gonna give a breakdown of each ladder match and who I feel has the best chance to win the coveted briefcase and a chance to become WWE Champion!

A Star-Studded Field, but second to the Ladies: The Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match:

I know what you’re thinking: how could I possibly utter that statement above? I mean, to say that the Ladies’ match will outshine the Men’s would normally be an absurd statement, but I’ll get to that match shortly. This match, however, will have plenty of action-packed sequences, tons of outlandish ladder spots, and a winner that we may or may NOT see coming.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, El Grande Americano, Andrade and Penta are the 6 competitors in the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. If you’re any bit of a fan of professional wrestling, and watch the product like I do, then I’m sure you’ve looked at this list since Monday night and have said two things: 1) Seth Rollins will likely win this match, and 2) LA Knight SHOULD win this match. Well, you would be correct on BOTH statements, because let’s face it, the direction Seth and his new faction are going, and the no disqualification rules that fall in a ladder match, it’s almost a guarantee that C.M. Punk will interfere in this match and cost Seth Rollins the briefcase. Their long-standing feud is most likely set to continue into a match build-up for SummerSlam before its culmination. So that just leaves the second statement, which is, LA Knight SHOULD win this match.

Mr. Money In The Bank is: LA KNIGHT!!! YEAH!!!

I’m going with my heart here because, let’s face it, this may be the last opportunity for LA Knight to land in the main event picture and become a World Champion in WWE. He’s one of the most overrated superstars on the roster, second only to the World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso. And if you remember correctly, Jey and Knight have already had a face-off where the crowd went nuts over their respective catchphrases. Not since Daniel Bryan’s Yes Movement, or Stone Cold’s What? Chants. We have had two stars who can command an audience with just one word. And with my prediction of Punk interfering in this match to cost Rollins his shot at becoming a World Champion again, nobody else in this match makes sense to win. Well, that is unless El Grande Americano wins and reveals himself to be Chad Gable. Then I would say he’s the only other superstar that makes sense to win. But I’m going with LA Knight…..YEAH!

Match Of The Night, The 2025 Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match:

I am not sugar coating anything by saying this match will be Match of the Night. Just look at this field of women, and let me break it down for you. You have arguably the most popular female superstar of the last decade, Rhea Ripley. Alexa Bliss returns for her fourth Money In The Bank match and won back in 2018, just to cash it in 2 hours and 52 minutes later on Nia Jax to become Raw Women’s Champion. One of the longest tenured women in WWE, Naomi, deep in her heel turn after attacking Jade Cargill, looks to land her way back into the title picture. And then you have 3 of the fastest rising stars within WWE rounding out the field in Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer, all 3 of whom have been called up from NXT within the last month. All 6 of these women are amazing talents capable of putting on an instant classic, but only one woman can walk out as Ms. Money In The Bank.

Ms. Money In The Bank 2025: The FIRST Two Time Winner of the Women’s Briefcase: Alexa Bliss

This is another situation where I have to go with my heart and not my brain. Alexa returned earlier this year at the Royal Rumble and many believed she was set to join The Wyatt Sicks, until Uncle Howdy sustained an injury and the faction was pulled from television. With Howdy healed, and the entire faction causing chaos on SmackDown, it makes the most sense for Alexa to become a two-time winner of Money In The Bank and then take her place within The Wyatt Sicks. She still wears her leather jacket that pays homage to Bray Wyatt to the ring, as well as her gloves that pay homage to The Fiend, which was Bray Wyatt’s alter-ego. While I believe that Perez, Guilia, and Vaquer will one day secure the briefcase, this match will not be the night they do it. Ripley doesn’t need Money In The Bank to work her way back into the title picture. And unfortunately for Naomi, her feud with Jade Cargill will spill over into this match, because just like Punk will cost Rollins the Men’s match, Cargill will most likely make an appearance and cost Naomi her chance as well. This will open the door for Alexa, possibly with a little help from Nikki Cross, to secure the briefcase and be crowned 2025 Ms. Money In The Bank.

The rest of the event has shaped up to be a pretty decent show, but just like the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber, this is another event that will feature gimmick matches overshadowing the rest of the card. Whatever you do, tune in Saturday night to watch one of the most exhilarating premium live events LIVE from Los Angeles, California!
