It takes a league of dunces to hold us back, but not this time. 10-22 is enough to push on, but 10 to 22 looks awfully familiar.

Knew I saw it before, also knew it smelled like bitch in here.
I am still firmly in the camp of “if they took it away from us, we’d just find a new way to ram the ball down teams’ throats”. But it is nice that Roger Goodell’s clandestine attempt to have the Tush Push/ Brotherly Shove made illegal failed about as miserably as Patty Mahomes and the KC offense did on February 9th. Isn’t it nice when good prevails over evil (and stupid)?
As we spoke about on today’s flagship episode, there’s a piece from Joe Staszak that alleges that Roger Goodell was the real villain of our story. He fed the idea to the Packers and had them propose the rule change. Well, now that the story has been fleshed out in the day since recording the show, that’s exactly what happened, and I think the source is more than credible: Mike Florio for chrissakes!

As I’m sure you can gather, this hard-hitting piece (sarcasm)is meant to serve as a companion to today’s flagship episode, which I know is already out because I had to listen to how bad my voice sounded after a weekend amongst the questionably hygienic (I have felt sick all week, no sarcasm). In the episode, Tyles and I wax poetic about how the banning of the tush push would have firmly cemented the 2024 Birds as one of the, if not the greatest, team in NFL history. So good that the league had to nerf the team’s ability for the sake of competition. Well, that didn’t happen, but the result? That’s right rest of the league, we, as Birds fans, are still going to be loud and in your face if your team isn’t on the official GENY “Not a Second Class Wuss Organization that Can’t Leave it On the Field so We Have to Vote to Change the Rules List” (catchy ain’t it):
-Birds: I truly hate that the best owner in all of sports had to take time out of his day to give a speech to these cowards, along with the most media overexposed Eagle of All-Time in Jason Kelce. What’s worse is that former Eagle Troy Vincent basically panned both of them and voted as the Union to ban the play. Brian Dawkins he is not.
-Ravens: The Ravens were the most obvious ally ever in this incredibly stupid mission to prevent loser-mentality from changing the game. The owner, the head coach, the organizational structure and standards are a mirror between the two. Sad they were the only other team in Bird-Gang that voted with us (looking straight at you, Failcons, Seahawks, and Cardinals).
-Browns: First decent thing this squad has done in years… Literally years.
-Lions: Dan Campbell and the Ford family are football people. They would rather win on the field than by accumulating votes in a wooden boardroom.
-Jaguars: The Khan family does the right thing.
-Dolphins: Anyone else noticing how many AFC teams are with us here? Almost like we don’t play them, so they don’t care as much… interesting.
-Patriots: I still hate you.
-Saints: Kellen Moore deserves better than this poverty franchise, but he did us a solid here, and we thank him for it. Hopefully, he can tank his way to a franchise QB1.
-Jets: I still hate this ownership, not a political podcast.
-Titans: This tracks with their culture, but it is another AFC team, oh well, way to not be a p&%$#.

One more story that broke worth talking about in type is that the entire NFC East was tapped to be the in-season subjects for this upcoming season’s documentary series Hard Knocks. I’m torn because the memes that will come out of this show will be legendary. On the other hand, I don’t like distractions, and this seems like it will be more intrusive and contrary to the culture in the Novacare Complex. So I think I agree with AJ Brown:
