The latest Markoff Round 2 episode opened on a somber note: a heartfelt homage to Sabu. This is the man who once taped up a wound mid-match rather than quit. From an infamous barbed-wire brawl with Terry Funk to wild table-smashing dives, Sabu personified a no-limits style that changed wrestling. He never headlined a WrestleMania, but his influence is all over every hardcore spot today.
Cena’s Smoke-and-Mirrors Show
The mood swung back to irreverence as the crew tackled John Cena’s current run. They openly asked if Big Match John has lost a step and needs a smoke-and-mirrors booking to hide it. It was a pure spectacle to mask that Cena isn’t at full throttle anymore.
