While the Eagles continue their win streak with 9 wins, moving to 11-2, they struggled slightly against the Carolina Panthers, winning 22-16. The concerns over the offense, specifically the pass game, were the talk of the town this past week and may factor into if this Eagles team has the legs to go the distance in the postseason. The Birds have another chance to prove themselves as they host Eagles vs Steelers this Sunday, December 15th with a 4:25 Kickoff.

The Eagles are set to do battle with the Steelers in a matchup that has bizarrely seemed to favor the home team. The Eagles lead the all-time series 49-29-3 and have a unique streak against the cross-state rival. The Steelers have not beaten the Eagles in Philadelphia since October 24th, 1965. That is 10 straight wins at home for the Eagles over the past 49 seasons. The Steelers have also had a ton of success in Pittsburgh as the Eagles are only 2-6 against them in the Steel City since 1968. These Eagles vs Steelers games often aren’t all that close with five of the seven games since 2000 being decided by 9 or more points.

Obviously every year and team is different and those trends don’t necessarily mean a ton. Hopefully, the trends continue in the Eagles’ favor and they can improve to 12-2 this season in their chase to track down the 1-seeded Detroit Lions, who also have a massive game that starts at 4:25 on Sunday as they host the Buffalo Bills. Bet the overs on every AJ Brown prop bet you can as after the fiasco the media created surrounding him and Jalen, a big day for AJ to say ‘FU” to the media seems inevitable. The Eagles seem to be rounding into form for the playoff run and the Steelers keep winning regardless of who is in front of them. It should be a hard-fought battle between the Eagles vs Steelers that should end with the home team on top.

When Tyles' grandfather emigrated from Maida, Calabria, Italy, he most likely had no idea that he would one day have a grandson who would one day fall victim to the ultimate virus: Philadelphia sports fandom. While intelligent and well informed by most metrics, he has been quite the victim of false prophets over the years. Jerome McDougle, Kevin Kolb, Dominic Brown, Nick Pivetta, Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, and not to mention countless free agents. All players who would push his teams to the next level. Unfortunately he will believe again and never truly stop. While being way too overly invested in all 5 main sports, his favorite team among the bunch is the Phillies. You can tell the level of perversion that exists within someone who lives and dies with the losingest franchise in sports history. Philadelphia sports remain the ever present, painful siren in his life. For who? We’re not sure. For what? He questions that on an almost daily basis. A quarter century of fandom filled with substantially more pain than joy, but he sticks with it because…we will always get ’em next year.
